Today we held a book fair in school. The event was organised and run by the student Council under the supervision of Mrs. O’Neill. Over the past few week’s families have been donating books for the event and the student council along with Mrs. O Neill’s sixth class, have been very busy sorting and organising the books for today’s event. Both sixth classes made bookmarks which were available to everyone who attended the book fair.

Junior Infants to fifth class were invited to the hall to look at the books and select two books each to take away, along with a handmade bookmark. The books that were left at the end of the book fair, were distributed to class libraries.

The sixth classes will visit the library in killarney on Wednesday and select books from the wide selection available.

This event was a great success, happy reading everyone!
